Laurie Raiber, president and founder of CAS, Inc., is a human resources professional with over twenty years experience providing executive recruitment and organizational training services to an impressive range of corporate clients. CAS Inc., early client list included Dow Jones, Bloomberg plc, Reuters, British Telecom, MCI, Associated Press, Digital Equipment and Oracle Corporation. Her firm became active early in the area of emerging technologies and converging media. A partial list of recent clients would include TV Guide Interactive, USA Networks, United Media, AP Digital, i-Village, and a growing roster of the leaders in the area of e-commerce, direct-response advertising like Guthy Renker Corp., Sylmark Inc., Mercury Media, Euro RSCG, HSN.

Her company, Career Advisory Services, Inc. is a unique, consulting group helping traditional and emerging companies identify talent for the 21st Century and helping individuals better focus their skills toward a place in the new economy.

Through her work with Career Advisory Services, Inc. she provides workers in transition, strategies for chartering careers in the new economy. Through one-to-one counseling, networking, and information sharing, she helps make the landscape of the new world more intelligible

Ms. Raiber has taught and developed courses for New York University's Center for Career and Life Planning and has run a program at The New School for Social Research on Careers in Interactive Marketing. She has run special in- house training programs for Citibank, Chemical Bank and Procter and Gamble.

Ms. Raiber holds an M.A. Degree from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration and Education, and a B.F.A. from the Tisch School of the Arts in Film and Television. She received postgraduate career counseling training at the Federal Employment and Guidance Services Agency in New York. She is a Certified Associate with Lee Hecht Harrison and services on their Entertainment Advisory Board in Los Angeles and a member of The California Career Development Association.
